A couple of years ago we decided to build some small body “parlor” or “0” size resonators, just for our own amusement, like most of the things we do around here. Well, they turned out to be much cooler than we were expecting, really fun to play, with a unique punchy sound that’s much fuller than we would have guessed. Our parlor model became kind of a big seller for us.

This Royall Parlor Special has a natural mahogany matte finish and has a very classic soft look. With a new upper bout body shape, and made of solid mahogany, this model boasts a more pronounced bass response with a tighter midrange EQ. Now with our new “Jester” Minihumbucker Pickup, they have extra warmth and punch when you plug in.

All of the resonators we make in our shop have their own individual character. With different relic looks for the same finish, or the dark or light fingerboards, we want you to be able to choose the one that best suits your needs. Therefore, all of our resonators are individually photographed with their Royall serial number in the listed tag. The instrument in the numbered listing is the exact one you will receive.
